So I used my 25 buck offer and got some bubble mailers, took 3 days to find them.... thanks UPS....lol
What is the quality of the tape they offer... I use "Duck" and it is high strength and super clear.
Is the ebay tape worth using my freebies on... I am good on bubble packs...
But if the tape is junk... I will go with boxes... I like free 25 bucks off.... it's like a free month of store fees.
And now I digress....
So the wife comes home...
and I am not in my bed
I am standing buck naked.... .
On a tree sump in the front lawn
I got a 9 Iron in my right hand...The left one..... has a real cold can....
I am shaking my fist at the holy man (just like Lt. Dan)
Get out of the rain you crazy fool.... Pneumonia will be the death of you... and how did you spend your day....
Well.... I didn't do the dishes, or take out trash.. Vacume the floor... you can kiss my......
Your brother called about a quarter to 9.....he said....... do you have any fishing line.
Hey.... stop throwing canned food at my head.... and no I don't know where the pup tent is.... why do you ask....

I like the tape and use it a lot. But then most of my packages are light weight and so is the tape. Not sure how good it would be on heavier items.

Oh heck.... I use tape to put over my mailing label to keep it safe.... But if it says ebay all over it.... that won't work... dang...

Are you using Duck HP260? That's pretty great stuff. If you do, I fear you will be disappointed with the ebay tape.
The complaints I've seen are:
It's very thin - not unlike Priority tape
It smells terrible
It is difficult to unroll (folds back on itself) or it breaks/tears leaving a mess to find the "start"
Some people love it.

Can't find the Duck PN but it is good stuff, if the ebay is as thin as Priority tape that is a problem.
Heck even the PO says that tape is just for marking a box as priority, not sealing tape...
And Duck tape is made in China... but it is good quality

Exactly what I was going to say!
Dave, you may want to consider ordering the boxes instead. There is a huge difference between the Duck packing tape and the eBay packing tape.
ETA: Yes, I believe the quality (thinness) is similar to that of the USPS tape primarily used for marking packages.

I agree with stick to the boxes 😉 they are a nice weight. I ordered the small bubble mailers the first time (because they pro-rated the coupon) and, though they are decent ... I wasn't really paying attention to exactly how small they were 😞 Definitely my fault .... I'm using them as padding, just to get rid of them.
I've been using the 6x4x4, the 8" Cube and the 10" cube boxes to augment my stash of PM boxes 😉
(you can get 6 of the 6x4x4 into a PM-O box, BTW .. and a single one also fits nicely into a PFRE)

Correction ... should read PM-O7 ... or a #7 box as we fondly call it 😉

You should never use Duct tape on packages. Many shippers will refuse packages because its glue gums up the scanners and other machinery. Clear tape or in the case of high strength, strapping tape.

@prefontained wrote:@phcd1 We are referring to Duck Brand clear packing tape, not the traditional silver/grey duct tape (any brand). 😉
But that's a good heads up for those who may want to use duct tape in a pinch.
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't even know they made clear tape.
