ebay Social--- Facebook, Instagram Issue Resolved

FYI for anyone using ebay Social: Just noticed that the problem with using ebay Social to link to Facebook and Instagram has apparently been resolved. I haven't tried it since the resolution, but will probably try it tonight.

Yes! That's the EXACT problem I had too.  Sorry, but glad I'm not alone.  I thought maybe I didn't link something correctly, and did an unlink, then relinked, but didn't change anything.  Thanks for tagging someone at eBay!

Hopefully, we will hear back tomorrow from the eBay staff that I tagged. For now, I will share my listings on Facebook directly, without using the Social tab.

This is a new issue. I see the same thing with links on my Facebook page provided by eBay using the Social tab.

I see this when clicking on a link provided by eBay from a Facebook post created with the Social tab. I noticed that the link opens to a "We looked everywhere" page indicating that I am not signed in, although I am. When I tried to sign in from the page, I could not sign in.

Is this a known issue? Is there an open ticket (ALERT) we can use when contacting customer service?

If I click directly on the link above, it goes to the correct eBay listing. However, when I click on the same link as it is found on my Facebook page, I get the error message.

Can confirm for you the link works from these boards as well. Weird that it wouldn't work on Facebook!

It is weird, however, eBay and Facebook have been having problems "talking" to each other for months so I cannot say I am surprised by this new issue.

I created a social post a minute ago, with 4 listings, and posted it to Facebook and the link back to my eBay items is up & working again!  Thank you to all!
