I have been selling on eBay for almost 20 years now the first 18+ years were fun and we both made money. Today I can not say the same, eBay now has to many Dept's, that do not communicate with each other. It seems like all eBay is doing is making new polices that hurt sellers, and makes it hard to stay a Top Rated Seller. Now that I said that I wanted to know I sell knives and many manufactures use MAP pricing, did eBay think about that before wanting us to send every customer a coupon that would make the price to low and cause us a big chance of loosing dealer status with that manuf. its one and done one time is all it takes to loose being a dealer. You also charge a different % depending on the category knives are listed in why sporting goods or collectors just using these two one doesn't get more attention then the other. eBay says since spliting with Paypal the overall cost would be less I can not see this, honestly eBay has made it hard to even figure out what was made on an item. You have so many fees for this that and everything one that stands out is I sell an item for 77.00 then eBay puts the tax on this plus the shipping, I give free shipping yet still some how pay a fee, isn't your final value fee and the .30 cents enough. You say no but those of us that do offer free shipping you use the service the buyer picks, that is crazy items under 16oz. go first class and over 16oz priority mail which can be $15. + or - on items selling for $20.00 1st we have the cost of the item lets say $10. I do not sell the cheap plastic knives costing $1.00 now put the F.V. on that which can be different depending on, next .30 then the free shipping if the buyer said priority mail there is $7.00 now add the tax again depending where they live makes the % different, and eBay has other fees that they can add on but again that depends on several things policies where fees are hidden. You send sellers a statement and a invoice, I was doing taxes and that was what brought all of this to my attention the dollar amount on the 1099 does not match the statement and or invoice. I am not a computer person I'm up in age I also am a high volume seller I do not have the time to read all of the updates / policies you are constantly changing I am trying to make the people buying from me happy with 1 day shipping etc;
I know I've touched on several different areas my point is what would you like your sellers to do especially the older ones and disabled that are already slower and have less knowledge with computers. You have taken any fun out of selling on eBay, ho its a job and shouldn't be fun,-wrong people that enjoy what they do are having fun people that are not driven by the mighty dollar which is what drives eBay. And yes it is a business and they need to make money or go out of business. If eBay were to take a poll with sellers that have been here for a long period if you were to ask them their opinion of eBay today or 5 years ago which was better well unless you did this we will never know, I saw 5 sellers leave eBay this week I knew 3 of them so I asked why I can not put their answers in here. Again in my opinion if you continue going in the direction you are you will lose more sellers than new ones coming aboard. Lastly I can never talk to the same Rep at eBay making me explain my issue over and over which takes time away from me selling. Or I call and hear oh that is a different dept, more time and many Reps can't answer questions just yesterday I was put on hold for 1 hour and 26 minutes, I sat my phone down on speaker and continued working no one ever did pick the phone up I called back. I could keep going and I am getting no pleasure saying any of this but eBay has many problems and the seller is the one being hurt, thanks Greg

Hey Greg, you need to break your post down into numerous paragraphs. It is impossible to read, I think nobody will read it past the first few sentences.
