Suddenly some items saying zero views, whilst another new item got 1369, and another 1604 views in 5 minutes, another 531 views in half an hour. This almost never happens. eBay please check. Is anyone else noticing this issue with the view counter feature as of today? Normal day I get 6 - 10 views. Not zero as many suddenly getting today, and crazy high views on others.

eBay what is going on please, sellers need to know accurate views of their items to see how they are performing. I am a concierge eBay member and request this issue be fixed asap. Thanks
This is a member-to-member discussion board. eBay employees don't hang out here regularly. If you are an eBay Concierge member, then your best bet would be to use that perk and contact them directly to complain.
However, as I explained up-thread, the problem has been reported/lamented about on the forums several times before and an eBay rep did weigh in at one point and said it's a glitch and to take eBay's word for it, sellers are getting views/watchers, but they just can't see them. Doubtful the Concierge service will tell you any different, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good luck.

Yep @duncanvr, you're not crazy. It's been happening at least for a couple of weeks. So you're not alone and complaining/calling eBay about it won't have any effect.
There have been numerous threads about the same issue and the response made by one of the eBay "blues" here was that the issue was "cosmetic." IOW, sellers ARE getting views/watchers, they are just not registering/displaying accurately via what you are seeing on your screen. Nice, eh? 😉

Is this a fashion item? I had it happen to one of my listings several months ago. I thought it might have something to do with that new search features that tries to find similar items. Someone else suggested that it could have been posted in a blog.

Don't think so @tamaralea. IIRC, OP specializes in selling old/rare coins.

Old rare coins, old stamps and old mail items are what I sell.

Well, all I know is, that 20" Schwinn Sting-Ray speedometer drive hub that I posted just last night is really popular. Really, really popular...

LOL... That's classic, @a_c_green! But no worries. What you see is all "cosmetic" you know... 😉

This glitch had been reoccurring for years if not decades now. It will resolve itself until the next occurence.
