eBay refuses to end store subscription, but restricted me from using

How can eBay place selling restrictions on a seller that pays for a store subscription and then continue to charge me even though I have stopped using eBay for over a year. I have filed complaints and verbally requested ACH to stop for over a year and a half.

Because that is in the user agreement for a store.

Whether you use eBay or not has no effect on your store subscription. 

 

I have filed complaints and verbally requested ACH to stop for over a year and a half. 

What happens when you log into your account and try to cancel your store  subscription? Do you get an error message? When did you sign up for your store? Was it an annual subscription or a month-to-month subscription?

Apparently eBay can do whatever they want. 90% of my listings were removed and my little business gutted and I've been trying to get a straight answer for 2 weeks. I've done nothing wrong and followed all the rules and paid fees on top of fees on top of taxes. I'm paying fees from buyers taxes and fees. Explain how that's even a thing? The last eBay rep told me that the removal of my posts was a mistake and promised left and right that he'd fix the problem and get back to me in 48 hrs. 72 hours later and I'm typing this crap. Does anyone know if I have legal recourse for lost sales? 9 months of hard work was finally starting to pay a little and poof... return customers gone, money gone, hundreds of hours work gone 1000's of pics gone. Legal recourse anyone know please thanks

Because seller restrictions and a store subscription have nothing to do with each other.

eBay cannot do anything they want. But in the terms you agreed to when you used eBay, you agreed that they could deny all or part of their service to you for any reason:

 

"we reserve the right to refuse, modify, or terminate all or part of our Services to anyone for any reason at our discretion"

I'm paying fees from buyers taxes and fees. Explain how that's even a thing?

It's a thing because those were the terms you agreed to when you used eBay. 

 

Legal recourse anyone know

I would show your lawyer the terms you agreed to and ask his opinion.

You can end your Store subscription at any time.

You will not get the fee for the current month or any part of it refunded.
If you have an annual subscription, you may pay a penalty for ending it early.

I don't know what ACH is, but the phone reps don't work for eBay but for a subcontractor and have little training and less authority.

If you ignore Ebay's email to you and allow your Store Subscription to renew each year, that would explain your problem.

 

You need to check your Subscriptions and see when you store renews.  Mark that date so you can cancel your store BEFORE it renews again.

I don't know if this will help, but it is worth a try.  You might take your problem to Ebay for Business on Twitter or Facebook.  The better trained CSRs are located there.  Maybe they can help you.
