eBay's practices for closing or blocking sellers' account are arbitrary and capricious. eBay refused to let me know the reason for closing my account after about 15 years of selling and buying on eBay. To add insult to injury, eBay would not allow me to reopen any account!

Copy and paste the body of the email you got notifying you of the problem with your account. Make sure you black out any personal info. Often they do say something or hint at something. Let us see if we can help.
It does not appear you have been suspended or closed, you still have active listing. There is no need to try and reopen your account, but the email should help us figure out what is happening.

That is not a good plan. Ebay does track IP addresses. Now I think they have programs in place that wouldn't allow another account anyway.

Is it another account they closed, you have listings up now.
If it's another account they closed, they'll probably close this account to.

Thank you very much for your guidance. You, were correct! Ebay reinstated the account.
Thanks!

I'm glad things worked out. But as I stated before, your account was not closed. You had active listings. So what changed? Did you get another email from Ebay?

Thats not true. If it were true they would not have banned "buyers" coming back again and again to the site, with both ebay and people here in the forum saying there is little they can do to stop them, when sellers ask them to stop these scammers.

Well they do. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not.
I'm not sure what you are referring to or defining as a "banned buyer". Are you talking about buyers that a seller puts on their BBL and then the buyer comes back to purchase or bid with another ID?

When you use a brand name in your title and the item is NOT that brand you are violating laws.
For instance you are using Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Jeep in your titles but the brand name is Pioneer.
Ebay is required by law to allow VERO members to have listings removed.

@janet9988 is absolutely correct. You have some listings are at risk for Vero violations too. So you really should fix them before you get the violations as it could really damage the health of your selling account.
You can use the brand name in the title ONLY if it is the brand name of the product you are selling.
For those parts you sell that fits several brands of cars, that is something you cover in your Description. You are allowed to put Fits on XXXXXX, even though the part is not that brand. But you are risking a lot by putting it in your title.

eBay practices are obscure and underhanded, in my opinion.
No wonder we get along so well.
I've also been called obscure and underhanded.
