Just for fun, I've been trying to compile a list of eBay corporate money grabs through the years, and this is what I can remember. Have I left anything out?
1) Eliminate the 75% final value fee discount for bringing a customer to eBay through an affiliate link.
2) Reduce the 1.5% debit card cash back reward to 1%.
3) Kick eBates and their eBay cash back reward to the curb.
4) Reduce the 2% eBay Bucks loyalty reward to 1%.
5) Reduce the 20% TR-Plus seller final value fee discount to 10%.
6) Raise the final value fee to 10% (with discounts in some categories for store subscribers).
7) Charge a 10% final value fee on shipping.
😎 Increase the basic store fee from $15.95 (Annual subscription) to $19.95, and then raise it again to $21.95.
9) Billion dollar stock buyback to boost the stock price so executives can cash in.
PayPal:
1) "Always Free! We make money on the float." Start charging fees.
2) Change the eCheck fee from a flat maximum of $5 to the standard, potentially much higher 2.9% + 30¢.
3) Eliminate discounts, so all sellers pay PayPal a 2.9% fee + 30¢ (3.9% for international), regardless of volume.
4) Keep the 30¢ fee if a refund is issued.

In an effort to stay competitive, we ... no, wait. Nevermind.

No different than any company that is for profit.
Banks are the worst with all the extra fees they charge.

Although the Want It Now program was free..the cancellation of this program reduced earnings potential for us small fry sellers.so indirectly it was a money grab also

Want It Now was leading to off ebay transactions, and sellers were spamming buyers with items that were not what the buyers were looking for, and so they dropped the program.
I posted some items to Want It Now; but was never successful in locating what I wanted now, at any time!

I thought you meant sneaky money grabs such as when the "glitch" caused the BOLD TITLE to be automatically checked on tons of new listings (at $4 a pop). Everything you listed was an announced fee increase/reward reduction.

I Hate The Fact That They Charge A Fee On Shipping When They Have Nothing To Do With It. They Make You Think That Ebay Labels Saves You Money,But Subtract The Shipping Fee And You're Not Saving Anything. I've Never Used Ebay Labels And I'm Sure Many Others Don't Either. So That's All Profit For Them. They Should Only Charge People That Actually Use Them.

Paypal is now 4.4% international, 14% FVF for below standard, basic stores are going up to 27.95(?), minimum of 5.00 for ebay bucks or you lose what you earned for the quarter, relists on sold items causing OOS defects if sold again, the recent banner ad that opted you in and put all of your listings on international sites and then costing sellers time to remove them, ......... I'm sure there are a few more I forgot.

You get charged the FVF for shipping regardless of who you use to create a label.

Well, that's probably where they learned so that they could create ebay authenticate for high-end purses and such.
I'm waiting to see if anyone ever uses this(if they actually roll it out) - and see if any seller gets an offer from one of the 'experts' there to buy their 'counterfeit' item ...............

DK another world class move is charging sellers to go to their seminars and the year they oversold the venture no seating left and told folks in walkers and on oxygen they'd have to sit on the floor. Signs of true leadership...

In that case we'd definitely have to include the autorelist 2 times for free (oh now it isn't but we won't give you a way to bulk edit to remove it from listings) until it wasn't debacle.
