You would think that you would space out massive changes. If for nothing else to allow users to get used to things so as to keep your profits up and complaints down.
With the changes last night, eBay has turned many categories and listing in the those categories upside down and/or made it more drawn out and tedious.
This immediately just after the All Selling fiasco.
I'm sorry, but you really don't know what you're doing in there, do you eBay?

This category lumping is pure incompetence! Is someone trying to sabotage the company? A simple buyer here who likes to browse basketball cards. Not football, baseball, hockey...just basketball. I'm not going to scroll through thousands of other cards trying to find my basketball cards along the way. Done buying until it's back to how it was!

Thank you for reaching out to us about the recent changes in the Sports Trading Cards. We're sorry to hear that you have had a frustrating experience as a result of our recent category changes. Sport-based categories for cards and etopps cards have been deprecated and replaced by product-type based categories. The categories have been replaced with item specifics and left-hand navigation refinements for Sport. Categories were added for Single Cards, Sealed Cards, Lots & Sets, Breaks, Uncut Sheets & Grading Tools among others.
You’ll be pleased to know that you can narrow down your search by Sport, Season, Team, Year Manufactured or any other item specific you are searching for. Instead of navigating through the category structure, you just need to filter with the equivalent item specific, for example: Sport = Baseball, Team = Chicago White Sox or Season = 1941-42. I do hope this helps to resolve your concern.
As the category changes roll out there will be some fluctuation in the item specifics and left-hand navigation filters. This should settle down in the next few days. We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.
Thank you again for taking the time to share this valuable feedback, and for choosing eBay!
Kind regards,
Ella
