eBay is and always will be a buyers market

I love reading these posts, year after year nothing ever changes. eBay will always cater to the lowlife scamming buyers. Keep on creating those fake accounts, god forbid eBay would put a credit card verification in place for us.

Oh no that’s too much trouble, only every other real auction house in the world uses one.

Sellers do not have a fighting chance. 20 years in any it only get worse with every year that passes.

Congratulations to the survivors!

eBay is not a "real auction house", never has been.

It's a "buyers market" because without buyers there is no market.

Fighting against what?

You have sold 63,000 items here over a 20-year period.  In the past 12 months alone, nearly 4,000 people have left you positive, often glowing, feedback.  And then you publicly call your customers "lowlife scamming buyers."  Wow.  Way to drive away decent people and create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

And, by the way, eBay is not an auction house and has never claimed to be one.

The OP is not talking about all buyers, just the scammers that eBay fails to do something about. They need to make it safe for buyers and sellers alike.

I understand their post. It’s just a shame people can keep opening up these accounts one right after the other if their intention is to scam. I do not know what the solution to that is other than what I think they do now which is monitor that but not sure how. It would be nice to know how they work on that problem.
