We are a new seller and an eBay for Charity direct seller.
I've worked with other charities before on eBay sales, and I know of a forum called "Connected for Good" that exists for charity sellers. The forum is mentioned on this eBay for Charity page (and in some other places): https://www.ebayforcharity.org/get-involved/benefit-from-community-donations/
I don't know if the forum is private, or something, but I can't for the life of me find how to access it. However, it does seem to still exist, at least somewhat recently, because on one of those other charity accounts I receive notifications about new posts such as:
"Hi btricorg,
[name] (Enthusiast) posted a new group topic in Connected for Good on [date] :"
However, if I click that link, either logged in as btricorg (the other charity) or peakdatanet (the new charity), I receive this error message:
"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.
Click your browser's Back button to continue.
Return to my original page"
So, how does one get into the Connected for Good forum? We are a charity that refurbishes PCs and other Internet access devices, and they're starting to pile up around here, so we need to kick our selling into gear. But we have some questions and have had a few issues occur, both of which might be easy to figure out with either other eBay for Charity peers and/or staff. At least that's my hope because much of eBay's regular CSR team seems to have little to no knowledge about eBay for Charity. Maybe the staff that posts here in these forums is more knowledgeable, but our experience through "Contact Us" has been, well, very lacking.
But we are new, so we're not reaching any hasty conclusions just yet. We are looking forward to learning the ropes and building our eBay sales as a sizable portion of our revenues.
If anyone has any information on how to get access to the charity forum, please let me know.
