Of course eBay doesn't HIDE Listings. That's just absurd.
To prove this:
I listed 40 car parts on the 16th (yesterday). All off of a Mercedes C240
I searched the words Mercedes C240 in auto parts and accesseries.
I filtered to Used.
I then sorted Time Listed Newest 1st.
Eight pages later I'm on the 15th and not a single one of my items is showing.
So, not hidden.
And WOW...the Mercedes C240 market is BRUTAL!
There may be more C240 stuff on eBay than used clothing. LOL

Are they listed in the same account you are posting from?
I see nothing if I search for Mercedes in your listings from that account.

You need to post from the account that you actually listed the stuff from.
The entire ebay motors search is ruined right now by that set of viral item specifics that make almost every search hit every item that uses it.
And just searching for any model of car will overwhelm you with generic parts / accessories.
I would assume most would search for the part they needed and not just the name of the car.

Yeah, we narrowed down some searches (still vague, but a bit more precise).
According to more listings than I could look at.....A VW, Ford Bronco, C240, Lexus, and a Chevy truck all use the same alternator.
(Compatibilities and Item Specifics)
FILL your items specifics and compatibilities with every vehicle and every part you can think of. No mater if relevant or not.
It's the latest thing since AI won't catch it.
It wasn't so much the unrelated stuff. It was just that I couldn't find any of my listings by date.
Even if I had, they would have been buried.
SO SO much competition on C240 parts.

They don't hide listings, they just don't let people see all of the listings.

Try searching for one model and excluding a random unrelated make, model or year to wipe out those keyword-spammed listings.
I would assume most would search for the part they needed and not just the name of the car.
Or search the model name and limit the search to the particular narrow category, or group the keywords using dashes or quotes, or browse the category, or search by exact part number, or use RSS, or use Google, or just search the listings of a handful of trusted sellers. Or a combination of any of the above.

Perhaps you mistakenly didn't list them -or- maybe they haven't indexed yet?
I went to your store and can't find ANY Mercedes C240 listings.

eBay doesn't hide listings
@redlinear
I think the term eBay prefers is "choose not to show".
From the UA under listing conditions:

I don’t know if this has anything to do with the price of beans, but I tried doing a search on the Canadian version of the iOS app and I got a message that more information was required for my search. I also needed to input the year of the vehicle, apparently. 🤷
