I think their tinfoil hat might be on a little tight.

Your thought process is as flawed as eBay is

"Today i start selling my items through eBay."
You have no listings.

Yes. So very correct!
Would give you 100 thumbs up, if possible!!
Be safe!
Just know if you figure out a way to give 100 thumbs up, it still won’t help his selling account 😉
If this fine Sri Lankan Seller goes back to his fellow Seller base in Sri Lanka and spreads the word about posting here..........he can have all the thumbs I gots! Go team! Tell everyone you know! 😃

OP probably meant something like, "Today is will begin listing my items through eBay although I have no idea how I will get paid if anything sells; however, I'll be listing each item for one cent each."

Has anyone ever figured out what the heck is going on over in Sri Lanka that is resulting in this endless parade of strange questions, in a forum that most eBay sellers probably could not find at gunpoint?
Given that these questions are not emanating from any other country in the world, the only thing I can surmise is that some entrepreneur in Sri Lanka has set up what he claims to be an eBay training course of some kind, and instead of attempting to answer the zillions of questions from his customers (from which I assume some payment was collected), he's pointing them all here.

They are given a list of questions to ask and told to post them here and it will help them sell.
The sad part, the only one that's going to make any money are the ones selling those courses.

I thought there was a 'new to eBay' group/sub-forum where they went, this was closed and now all of these questions are migrating over here.

I wish I knew.
One of us should set up an online course for these folks so that they could determine fairly quickly that it is not a viable proposition.
I am guessing some "genius" there is telling them how to circumvent the system as the rules are really strict from what I have read and you have to be a registered business and the paperwork to do that from what I could find, was not a simple registration, etc. Taxation (money) is at the Sri Lankan Govt core of this and it is heavily regulated and failure to pay the tax has criminal implications evidently.
No one who posts wants to believe there is not a viable way to sell thru drop-shipping from China, Hong Kong, etc.
Just a really sad plight. You want to help them, but there is not really a way to do that. They are trapped in a cycle dictated by their Govt. Payoneer is not their savior - it is more complicated, unfortunately.
Ignoring them seems rude, but it is really the most merciful thing that can be done. Encouraging them is a recipe for disaster - their disaster.

Drop shipping from China does seem to be the default option for this (though one Sri Lankan seller has incense that's a noted product of their own country). Double shame because not only is there more than enough Chinese replicate rubbish being dumped on our shores, but there are also supply chain problems so even sourcing it can be problematic. Not a great time to be doing it.

At this point, I'd even enjoy, "Today is the first day of the rest of my life."

Well, if there ever WAS a sub-forum, it needs to be reopened immediately. They obviously have lots of questions and remarks that need to be asked and answered, preferably among themselves, however mean that sounds.

I’m with you! I, too, questioned the genesis of this explosion of inane, and often, insane questions and responses. I sincerely hope for their sake they did not have to pay someone for this “education “. It is sad.

Hey I believe that I was the one who brought that up! Stop hating on my Sherlock detective skills. 🙂
