I just realized that eBay search does not treat the state's abbreviation such as "NY" the same as "New York" . I have been using either interchangeably, thinking that using the abbreviation to save title space was smart. I guess I'll have to put both in now. Is this a change, or have I overlooked this all these years?

I noticed that the other day, too. Not sure if it's a change, or been that way. Don't know if this would work, but if possible, I'd try the abbreviation in the title and the full name in an item specific...maybe that would cover you without having to put both in the title. (Many of my items are "Pennsylvania", so I'll be trying that LOL)

That's a good idea which I already checked. That item specific does not seem to be found by a search.

I think I misspoke. The searcher could probably search for the item specific and find it but can't find it otherwise.

I think I can simply spell out the state name in the description and that will make it searchable, if I did my testing right!
