I check my Promotions every day to see if there is a new one. Today there was... sort of. 25% off on 5 sales of $25.00 or more. But, what the heck, I take it. So I click on get offer and...Unfortunately, this promotional offer is not available to you. The red is eBay's. So, if it is not available to me why is it in "MY eBay"? Just screwing with me?

I also had it in My Ebay so I clicked "Get Offer" and got the same message that it was not available to me. Then I checked the Learn More link and it is only for parts and accessories in Ebay Motors.

But how on God's green earth does Ebay know ahead of time that I'm not going to sell off some parts and accessories? Just because I've not sold any doesn't mean I might not be going to do it.

Also perhaps it would have been nice to say in the info on the Offer that it is only for Ebay Motors.

It is 4/28 in California right now isn't it? LOL

There was another promo recently that did the same thing. It was reported to Alan and he passed it on to IT. In just a few hrs, it was working correctly.

Since this is the weekend, and Alan and the Blues are not available, he advised that CS should be called in these instances.

So you might want to call and let them know. If it is not fixed by Monday, then you can call Alan or another Blue to this Board.

Not listing today, will put up a couple of auctions tomorrow. Will check then to see if I am still Verboten.

Sometimes I believe they are the ones nobody else will hire. Also believe all the unnecessary and unwanted changes are just because they need something to do.

Most of eBay's changes have changed what worked to what sounded good. (apologies to Thomas Sowell for changing his quote).

Since eBay has so many bots you would think they could spare a few to verify that I don’t sell cars or auto parts before going to the trouble of randomly sending an auto parts promo.

I got the promo also and received the same message that it was not available to me. I was able to activate it through the Learn More link.
But for my troubles I think they should just send me that Mustang on the "Those Parts You Don't Need" page.

That's how I had to do it also.

Now if I can just find those parts .........
