Never go for a replacement; most likely it won't work out.
Stand by your feedback. Any resolution should occur before you revise anyway. Don't revise and expect anything to happen. They got what they wanted and now there is no incentive to make things right for you.
Ebay has great buyer protection. You might want to familiarize yourself with it.
If you get something that is defective or not as described, open a case in the Resolution Center.
Sorry you have had this experience. Vet your sellers and their listings carefully, read their feedback comments received, as they may reveal a pattern that show that buying from them is not wise.
