Question.... I just received a return request which gives me the option to "decline"
if i decline the return request can the buyer leave me negative feedback?

Yes, they can leave negative FB and they can keep the item. We can state no returns but only to let them keep the item plus the money they paid for it.

Its a remorse return if you have the option to decline it (or its been more than 30 days since the buyer received it). Yes they can leave negative feedback and the other responder is incorrect that the buyer can keep the item and the money they paid for it.

We need more details in order to provide you with the correct advice.
Has the order shipped yet? If so, how long have they had the item in their posession? What reason do they offer for wanting to return it, if any?

@jonathankirkland I already gave correct advice. The OP's question was whether or not the buyer can leave negative feedback if he declines the request. We don't need more information. Its a return request and since the seller has the option to decline it, It doesn't matter what the reason reason is or how long they've had it. Its either a remorse return or its been more than 30 days since the item was delivered but thats all a moot point because the buyer can leave negative feedback whether he accepts or denies the return.
