combining two sales and shipping?

A buyer has contacted me with an offer.  He wants to combine a 100 dollar offer on one item  with a separate item that is 50 dollars.  He asked me to reply to his offer with a counter offer of 150 and ship them both to him.

How do I go about doing that? Can I just send the counter offer on the first item and then cancel the 2nd listed item?

this is literally my first sale, thanks for any help

Sounds like a strange  request. He might be trying to take advantage of a new seller. Why can't he purchase both separately, pay with one combined payment, and they can be shipped together?

If you feel the buyer is serious, end the sale of both items. Then create a new listing with both items on it, for the agreed to sales price. Put pictures of both items in the listing & description.

I feel that is the cleanest way to do the transaction.

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

Was the offer lower then the Buy it Now price for one or both of these items.

Was the offer was just for you to combine the items ?

I agree iwth @aeparts1 .

Make a single listing for him and (my spin) put his name as the title, so only he is likely to find it. And give him a reasonable deadline.

And set out your Shipping for the combined package. Remember that Shipping is NOT part of any Best Offer agreement.

Agree with you both but when I've had chance to do the same, I relist the combined items as a BIN/Best Offer with an inflated price no other buyer would even consider. Then, at their convenience, the intended buyer just has to submit an offer at the previously agreed upon price. Avoids the slim chance of some 3rd party possibly interfering.
