combining accounts

looking for advice on how to either combine laptop and iphone accounts or how to eliminate iphone account and replace it with the laptop account     thanks in advance

eBay does not allow the merging of accounts.

I have not heard of different accounts for laptop and iphone. I can log in to my account from any device.

Many users have separate accounts, one for buying, one for selling. You could keep both accounts and use the one for buying, one for selling.

An eBay account is an eBay account. There is no such thing as an "iPhone account" or a "laptop account". 

There are just "Accounts".  

Let's say you are using account A on your iPhone, and account B on your laptop. If you want to use account B on your iPhone, you simply:

• go to the iPhone 
• log out of account A
• log into account B

And if you want to use account A on your laptop, you simply:

• go to the laptop
• log out of account B
• log into account A

If you want to combine account A and account B into a single account, you can't. eBay does not have any mechanism for combining accounts, nor should they. There would be too much potential for fraud and abuse.

Accounts are not assigned to "iPhones" or "laptos", they are assigned to PEOPLE.

A person can use their ebay  account from a iPhone (the ebay app)  -or- a laptop (the ebay website).

What???  I know nothing about iPhone or laptop accounts.  Each account is registered to your email, access it from any device by signing in.  Is there a Chromebook account, too?

The OP has to be asking about something else here....
