That's sort of what I figured. The Op is concerned about where the money comes from to refund
the buyer.
The OP needs to determine,
1) Did the buyer pay ebay for the Machine?
2) If the buyer paid, Is the money sitting in the OPs account still on hold?
He need s to find his seller hub and answer himself those questions.
Is the OP receiveing messages from ebay about this transaction? What do the message say?

2: Accept the dispute and auithorize them to take the funds out of my account. Neither of these responses apply to this and there is no where to go from there.

Oh, yeah... this one ^^^ applies here. YOU DON'T HAVE IT... YOU NEED TO REFUND THE BUYER.
IF you were able to cancel the order (as advised upthread)... you'd be returning the funds paid by the buyer and eBay would be looking to you for the $.30 Transaction Fee, additionally.
IF the buyer has opened a dispute with their CC, approve it and refund. If this is the case, you might be on the hook for the $.30 plus $20 to the CCC.
Either way, you botched this one and ARE on the line for a refund... issue it.

thanks again, I agree I botched it since I haven't ever used E-Bay before. Their website and indicators are not very user friendly. (my humble opinion) I'll be glad to pay any fees to E-Bay for penalties or whatever.
