Every now and them I have a buyer leave a buyers note in an order. Seems to be happening a little more often. I never know when they leave a note in an order. I see them after the fact when i am looking at paid and shipped orders for one reason or another. The notes to date have all been ignorable without a problem so far but I worry about someone putting some thing important in one. I get notified when I get an order, I get notified when I get a message, but no notification about these buyer notes. Do I have something turned off?

I have the same problem/concern @tripper101. I usually just deal with a sold item by clicking through on the notification bell at the top-right of the page which takes me directly to the sold item. The only way I see any notes is if I display my "Sold Listings" page which I don't always do because there's no need to if I've already processed it "via the bell."
If I have had several sales that need processing (which hasn't been happening, lately!), sometimes I don't notice the notes even if I pull up my Sold Listings page because inevitably the one with the note is farther down the screen and not visible unless I scroll the page.
Like you, so far the notes have been pretty innocuous so I haven't missed anything important, but I worry one day I will. Don't think I have anything turned off -- I think the only place you see there's a note is if you go to your Sold Listings page which I have been trying to remember to do just in case. But, maybe somebody else will chime in and have a better solution...

Far as I know there is no sort of notification if a buyer leaves a note. It's funny, I always check for notes in Paypal and Ebay and so far nobody has ever left one. The minute I decide not to look, someone will

There is a note on the sold listing page.

You aren't notified of the buyer message special, over and above that message being a part OF the payment notice and also showing up on the order of the sold item (if I remember correctly). I occasionally get one, and like you noted.. they're hardly ever anything that includes a detail that you'd best not ignore! LOL Mostly a thank you, or occasionally a note for you to package with care as they are getting too many sloppy sellers not packaging safely, and broken items being the result.
Knowing that there is the occasional message from a buyer, just take a faction of a second to see if anything is showing up. Knowing that there may occasionally be a buyer message is our 'heads up' on this subject.

Yes I have seen that but always way after the item shipped. Was just wondering if I was missing anything. Thought I would finally ask. Kind of knew the answer but hoped I was wrong. It would seem to make sense to see that when printing a lable at least.
