buyer did not use return label yet i was still charged

Seller opened case to return item 3 weeks after he got it. Ebay approved and sent usps label. I was charged 25$.

SSeller never shipped item yet opened case for me not refunding him. Ebay ruled in my favor and closed return. Its been 3-4 weeks since charged for postage. Is there anyway to try and get a refund? Ebay customer service said i had to try and contact usps even though they created the label. I cannot find any where to try and void the label to get a refund

I have never been billed for ebay generated USPS return label until it is actually used.

That's why there's no void option for them.

I would check financial/expenses pages in Seller Hub again.

Are you sure you were charged? The way it normally works even though the label was created, is you don't get charged until it is used. Every return prompts the creation of a label. The labels that are used will show as a charge. Whatever the circumstance, it should not be too difficult to get reimbursed from USPS as long as it wasn't scanned(if they actually charged you).
