When I copy a listing, the "Allow Offers" option is turned on even though it was not turned on in the item I copied from. This is especially dangerous because you cannot see that unless you open up the "Pricing/More Options" category in the new listing you are creating. So, I have Listed a number of times and was lucky to catch that oversight before the associated item was listed for too long.
Is say this a bug, but it seems impossible to contact anyone.

Yes I noticed that too. And if offer is on it sets a minimum offer amount which I have to delete. I use my android phone to list. Very annoying and time consuming.
Copied listing should copy the offer settings from original listing.

Stop being lazy, that's how you fix it. If you're copying a listing you should be going through everything to make sure it matches with what you're selling. Use the preview feature so you can see what it will look like before you list it.
As for it being a bug, I doubt it. Ebay probably does it on purpose to "help you sell"😂
