best offer mysteriously added itself to my listing

I have received some offers on items that I wasn't supposed to accept offers. I figured that I just overlooked it when listing the item. But today I added an item and made sure that the best offer wasn't checked. Immediately after I checked the listing and it accepted offers. I revised it and it seems to be fine now.  But why is it adding itself? How do I stop it?

Watch out they are pre-setting acceptance prices also.
ebay can take an offer and sell an item that you did list that way.

Some believe if you use the advanced listing form instead of the quick form, Ebay won't add the BO. They're trying to be "helpful" to newer sellers who may not know how to remove it.

Ebay sets an auto decline of anything more than 30% off, but they do not set an auto accept.  It is still up to you, if you want to set an auto accept, or just consider the offer when it comes in, it is still your call.
