Did you mean:

beginning of a scam?

Hi, I had a potential buyer from Thailand message me about an auction with the question "I interest, you have instargram?" I can't think of what Instagram would have to do with my auction so I'm not sure what the intention of the question is and if this is a buyer I should block.  Thoughts?

Ignore and block.

They want you to go off Ebay to either buy your item or steal your item.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

They want to scam you one way or another.
Block!

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

I personally might just be nice and answer their question knowing very well that they are possibly trying to scam me.

But I don't have instagram and my answer would simply be "No."
