A few months ago I changed my business plan to switch from Amazon to Ebay as my primary platform. As part of this I ramped up my auctions. It's been a lot of work but the results have been good. I"m taking a break next week and when I come back in July I plan to switch gears yet again and push Fixed Price listings instead of auctions. It's an experiment. Not sure what to expect. The ideal outcome would be good sales and income with somewhat less work. Alternatively, more success getting the backlog listed. I suppose if I fall on my face it will be back to auctions. What do you think, should I give it at least a month for the experiment to be fair?

Looking through your Sold items, I see that nearly half of your auction-format listings got multiple bids. For any item that doesn't have a clear-cut selling price, you might be better-off listing in auction format, but then converting to fixed price if it doesn't sell on the first or second time around.

that is what I've been doing. The ot her way to look at it is, around half only got the one bid. I like auctions a lot but wonder if with some books more would sell at FP in a given time frame than at auction.

You have a better reflection on what your sales are then we have.
Decide what is best to put on auction and what is best to put on fix priced.
