Are you perhaps trying to list an item that is priced above your selling limit?

It probably has something to do with that negative feedback you got a while back.

Sellers' accounts are not restricted based on negative feedback comments.

One buyer's negative experience--even if a case were filed and the OP lost--would not even be damaging enough to the OP's account to cause limitations.

It looks like you haven't sold anything in a while. So, eBay sees you as a new seller. No way for us to know why you are limited, but possible reasons include:

1. selling something for more than the selling limit for a new seller

2. doing something wrong a year ago the last time you sold on eBay (eBay never forgets)

3. if someone else used your computer or wi-fi for eBay and then did something wrong on their account and got suspended (any punishments affect all users of the connected computer or wi-fi)

4. selling from certain countries other than the US

5. problems with your Paypal account associated with your eBay account

If you don't fall in to any of these categories, then you will have to continue to try to reach eBay to find out what the problem is.

@pburnbut they can be if said seller doesn't pay any fees associated with a case.

Okay, so, first you said:

"It probably has something to do with that negative feedback you got a while back."

And that was the comment I responded to. Now you want to change it to:

" . . . they can be if said seller doesn't pay any fees associated with a case."

So which is it? Feedback or fees?

Or maybe it was this:

If some of those positive comments were really negatives and the buyers filed cases on those for INRs and SNADs and then the OP didn't pay any of his FVFs on any of his transactions and then he closed his PayPal account and changed his social security number and moved to a country that doesn't have extradition and now he has come back under an assumed name and is using his sister's address and is dropshipping counterfeit booty from a big heist down in Venezuela.

That'd get his account limited, too.
