Zero views but watchers software bug maybe

I have a number of items with one or more watchers but zero views.  All other items with no watchers have zero views.  Some of these has a number of views yesterday.  I received installed the app but no joy.  Any one got any ideas?  Or is it  a bug from the recent software upgrade?

There’s a bug being reported on the boards.

it is possible to have watchers and no views. You can add listings to your watchlist without opening the listing. This wouldn’t likely happen in a bunch of listings though

This messed up views thing has happened before. It gets fixed.

It is a relatively minor glitch. Views are nice to know, but I don't need to know them minute by minute. Mine were wonky yesterday. Okay today.

For awhile sellers were griping that a new listing would show 2 views the second the listing was uploaded. 

Back in the dark ages, buyers could see how many times a listing had been viewed and a seller could inflate that number by looking at his or her own listings. Total waste of time.

I want to clarify that the view/watcher count this is a display issue and this is not affecting the data used to calculate your impressions. You're welcome.  It is frustrating.  There are site wide issues lately; Ebay is changing the site and many other issues are popping up.

I am having the same problem too. It has been going on for a couple of weeks. Very frustrating!!  Please post any updates on this.... it would be greatly appreciated.

I understand the software bug is due to be fixed 3 July 18.

Unless bugs are emergency issues (where the site won’t function) they are usually rolled out in releases not haphazardly. July 3rd is probably their next scheduled update.

I too am having this issue. Zero views on ALL my items and seems my sales are being impacted now - devastating. My regular buyers tell me they can't find me when they search my user name on the ebay site. What's going on??
