You've exceeded the maximum number of messages you can send per day - i have been on ebay almost from the start - i have been off ebay last 3 weeks - trying to buy - asking questions - "You've exceeded the maximum number of messages you can send per day " why this problem !!!  - popo

Ebay does have a limit but I'm not sure if they tell us exactly what that limit is.

How many messages did you send before you got that message?

Are you using the new & improved message system or the old version?

I am guessing it was some kind of glitch unless you did send like 100 messages.

I thought there was a limit of 5 per day from a potential buyer to a seller. I can't confirm that, though. Hmmm... 🤔

eBay places limits as a safeguard to stop spammers. If I recall correctly, the limit on the number of messages you can send per day, or exchange with the same user, is pretty high. How many messages approx do you think you sent @popo576 ?

Yep that can happen.  It is a good rule.  It keeps members from spamming other members.  We can send about 10-12 emails a day.  I think that is the rule.  I haven't ran into an issue for years, so it could have changed since I last ran into it.

All caps aren't necessary.  In writing all caps means you are yelling.  We do understand what you issue is.

Why do you have the need to send so many emails?  Maybe that would help to know the answer to that.

Unlikely that would work.  The issue the OP is running into is a Safety issue on Ebay.  Ebay doesn't want us to have the ability to spam other members.  They have had a cap on how many emails you can send in a day for decades.
