'You're Protected for this Dispute'

This was a strange dispute...never had one like these.

The purchase I guess was a 'guest account'...no feedback and a new account.

It was an international buyer from UK...I would never have thought a UK buyer...they are so nice from UK.

I did mark the item shipped yesterday...with no tracking...and was going to mail it this morning...LOL

No hold on funds for this item.

I assume the buyer made a lot of purchases and disputes and maybe eBay notice that..

Anyway, it was nice to know that 'big brother' is watching sometimes.

Yeah, typically tracking is required for automatic seller protections on a "doesn't recognize the transaction" payment dispute.

Since you didn't even ship yet, or use tracking, I agree that abuse was probably detected and that's why eBay's covering you on this.

Right, I saw that, but marking it shipped on its own is not enough to trigger seller protections on a payment dispute. This is why there has to be another factor and, like you suggested, buyer abuse is probably the reason.

Good to see eBay having your back on it.
