I had been offering reprint manuals for people who have video games and no way of knowing how to play them. Most of these date back to the early to mid 80's. I clearly say they are REPRINTS and made no attempt to deceive anyone that they were originals. I even use a different paper so it is easy to see what they are. I don't sell many but the few people I've sold to have been very satisfied with their purchases. I am told it is Ebay policy to not allow reproductions of original items. This is obviously subjective because this can be found all the time with a number of different merchandise items. I understand if someone is trying to pass off an expensive, brand name item for a big return but I am selling these for between $6-$12.00 and not offering as original.
I was allowed to do this for several months and all of a sudden was shut down. I would like to discuss with an official to clarify why this was done. Any input from anyone would be appreciated.

Sounds like a basic copyright violation to me.

It's not subjective. It's clearly violating ebay's rules and the law.
You can't just print and sell something you don't own the rights to.
Not on ebay or anywhere else.

What you have been doing definitely sounds like blatant copyright infringement.
Did Sega give you permission to make these copies of their packaging and manuals? I doubt they did!

The Sega website clearly states that use of SEGA downloads and items from their site are made available to you for your personal, non-commercial use only. Selling photocopies is NOT personal and IS commercial.

Was the removed listing taken down as a VeRO removal reported by Sega?

Very simple: because SELLING reprints is a copyright violation. You can scan them and put them up on the web for free and SEGA won't care, but you can't sell them for profit.
