Wrong return address on shipment label

I just taped my printed shipping label to the box and noticed a number is off on my return address... however, I read that I can fix it in My ebay > Account > Addresses, but there's no existing Return address; it has an "Add" button instead of an "Edit" button.

Your main return addresses where buyers can return their items to.

 

I don't know where it's getting the return address from.

 

Where does it get the return address if I don't already have one specified?

Silly question... but is your 'Registration' address correct, or does it match the return (incorrect) address you see?

The Registration one was correct... are you saying that's where the Return address defaults from?

 

I noticed some of the other addresses had the wrong number too... so I just added/updated all of them.

It's on the page where you print a shipping label @daveller. Go to the address page in your account and add a return address and check the ship-from address because that's the one in question here. After that, the next time you print a label, before you click purchase click the edit button next to the ship-from address to make sure it's correct.

I have no idea where the bad one defaulted from. (That's why I qualified mine as a "silly question"... I truly didn't know.)

Yes, I understood. To make my above post more clear, it's pulling your ship from address on this page.

 

As I said above, since you did not have a return address entered on your profile settings, it's the ship from address, not the return address that's in question. So update the ship from address on that page (and add a return address for good measure), then as I said above - double-check on the page where you purchase the shipping label to make sure the change "took."
