hi All,
I had this really strange experience getting ripped of by ebay. I sold 3 items to one seller. I got 3 ebay emails, 2 contained a wrong address. I've send everything by the book and added the tracking info on all object orders seperate. I gave the buyer a direct refund on 2/3 shippingcosts.
The buyer opened a case for not receiving the package, ofcourse very angry with me sending it to an unknown address. We both contacted ebay and they confirmed that the address was send wrong caused by a technical issue on the ebay platform. So I send all details to them directly and also to the buyer...and I added the information in the ebay case. Ebay responded that everything was clearly caused by ebay and I should sit tight and wait for them to settle this correctly..I did not have to worry a thing.
In the end they let me pay for 2 of 3 sale because I added the information in one of 3 cases. I had no knowlage that there even where 3 seperate cases and after many hours of sending them emails had no idea that I should.
In the end they have seem to found a way to make me suffer for their errors. I am really shocked that they require us seller to be honest and just people while beeing so unfair themself. I can't help but feeling robbed by them.
Thanks for reading,

You're talking about addresses sent to you by email. Nevermind that. You don't ship things based on a email you received.
Did you print out your shipping labels with ebay? Did you ship them to the address provided without changing anything?
If the answer is YES, you're covered. You should suffer no loss.
If the answer is NO, you're not covered.
Very simple.
