Just for fun, I copied and pasted my eBay "blocked bidder list" from the last 22 years into a Word document and there are 2,601 entries, and that's after removing all the blablabla@deleted IDs no longer registered. It's amazing to think that I added each of these "problematic" user IDs over the years, one by one.

A few dozen, one or two for strange or rude Best Offers, the rest for undeliverable/not received shipments (I do not track since international tracking to the USA is very expensive).
But I've been selling here since 1998, so maybe averaging two or three a year.

I have added 800 users with 24,500 selling transactions in 18 years.
Low ball best offers when I never even use the Make-Best-Offer button
Address problems
Return dishonesty
Non paying bidders
Cancellations

You made me check mine too. 786 in 17 years with about 199k selling transactions. Too bad I deleted all of the @deleted ones. I'm curious to see how many of them there were. My guess is that it was a lot.
@onlinecentral 800 out of 24,500 sounds like a high percentage... about 3.3%. Blocking 1 out of every 30 people. You must have bad luck or a tough product category to sell in.

And people wonder why they cannot sell a thing. WOW, could you imagine if real stores did that.

I'm sure retail stores wish they could permanently block shoplifters, serial returners, and other problem people.

2,601 shoplifters, serial returners and other problems. You are in the wrong business or doing something drastically wrong to come across that many thieves. Maybe better description, titles and pictures ? Hmmmm
