Hi all,
A simple question:
Would you go to other platform that not interact with you and your buyer, only charges a fee for listing not for the sell.
Kind regards,

I see that the most comments are absolutly clear about fees in front.
So seller prefer to pay a fee at sales then fees for uploading an item.Is that different if an upload cost you i say 1 euro, and there is no other fees for selling your item.
So 1 euro and no other costs involved?
Also i see an issue about the platform idea to do not intervering in claimes about buying with paypal or delivery problems.
So the platform must be involed at disputes between buyer and sellers.
When the users in this thread talk about fees only when an item sells it is because ebay has a 30 day time frame for an active listing. When you consider this and then take into account many sellers have thousands of items listed right now the up front cost would be in the thousands before they sold the first item, and it would get charged each month when they relisted the unsold items again.
If you are talking about a site that charges a one time fee for an active listing until it sells then that is completely different strategy. A platform like that comes with its own baggage as well. Sellers parking items at stupid high prices because well it does not cost them anything extra to do so, which erodes buyer confidence. Lots of security issues. But what stands out to me more than anything elase is that the venue will probably not have much operating revenue to make changes and update equipment, or develop new features, or advertise properly, legal department, customer service.
Good Luck Selling!

If I wanted to park my items for display like a museum, with no sales and pay for them to sit there, I would have to charge an admission fee for the viewing of the museum. Nothing out there compares to the traffic Ebay gets.

I've sold on other sites, and one like your describing. I will say that every single listing site has issues of one sort or another. I chose to come back to eBay, because I do better here. That's just me. A site needs compatible with what you are selling. In my case, I have both antique and modern jewelry. On one site, I could only sell vintage there, so it forced me to use two sites to sell my total inventory. Too much work after a while.

I so agree with you. Having tried other options, I have something to compare to and this site does bring in the buyers for me.
