Buyer has 600+ feedback rating but 12 of 50 feedbacks left for others are negative. Sounds like buyer likes to complain and don't like to complement. Would you block?

The neg. rate is 2% or less, so it's not as bad as it intially looks.   For me, it would depend on what was said in those neg.s, I suppose. 

My general rule is trust your gut.  If it's bad enough you're asking yourself (or others) "Should I...?", you probably should.

I would block in heatbeat.. this one is playing games and knows he can get away with it.. most likely need medication

Yes i would and here is why.  Someone that leaves that many negs is just going to be to hard to please for the most part.  Its better just to avoid that situation becuase most likley it will come back to bite you.   They clearly are just looking to take out anger on us sellers.   There are a lot of good buyers and they are the ones to deal with.    Best regards everyone

The negative rate is 25%, not 2.  All the 600+ feedback the buyer has is as a buyer.  He/she has only left 50 feedback, a quarter (or so) of which were negative in nature.

But yeah.  Gut says "don't wanna deal with it".

Just maybe the negatives were warranted. If a buyer leaves unjustified negative feedback for a seller, ebay will remove it upon the sellers request. If you are a trust worthy seller, don't worry about it.  I mostly list Buy It Now items so there is no dealingl with non paying bidders... which are a whole other story. My suggestion: Be as specific as you can be in your listing information all the way around and don't waste energy or precious time on concerns about what a byer may or may not do in the future. Works for me.

I would block in a heartbeat. Sometimes a sale is not worth the aggrevation.
