Disclaimer - I know many think this is "irritating" or a waste of time or is poking the bear or eBegging. That is fine IF that is your style, but this is what I have chosen to do and I believe I am free to make my own mistakes? So looking for wording others use, not advice like "don't do it!"
So looking through procedures and thinking I should "benchmark" the wording of my after delivery email to a buyer. So interested to see if others will share their wording here or through PM?
Right now I send a note acknowledging that I see the item has been delivered and hope they find the item acceptable. I guess there could be mention of the return policy? cross-selling or see my other items? or other things? and last and least - the horror - a mention about feedback.
Hope others are willing to help!

Use the word "Please" somewhere in my message to the buyer. 😉

I have thank you hang tags printed up with thank you and my store name. I don't message anything because I dislike when people keep emailing me.

I* do not believe you are allowed to spam a buyer with emails about other items for sale.

I do something similar in an email to my customers WHEN they place an order. I'll PM you with details in case there is something you can use from it.

IMO, this isn't necessary. I buy a lot and have for years, and have rarely seen a seller do this; it can be considered an annoyance as buyers know they received the item, they have it in their hands, they can see from tracking that it has been delivered, and Ebay sends a message stating the item has been delivered. Ebay has a spam policy. I know you aren't looking for advice on don't do it, but thought you might consider a buyer's perception of this, and of course you have the right to decide what you choose to do.

Add all of that to your packing slip, instead of sending a message.
I have added the following to my eBay generated packing slips at the bottom
(if you don't know how to do this, PM me … it's convoluted)
Thank you for your purchase.
If there is any issue at all with your item, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We have a 60 Day Free Return policy.
We package all of our items very carefully, but if your item has arrived damaged, please contact us immediately
through the email address above.
All of our packages are insured against breakage. We will never make you wait for the insurance claim to be
completed. Once you send us all of the info that is necessary to make the claim, we will refund your purchase.

Don't poke sleeping lions.
No news is good news and no feedback is good feedback.

I will just add, that if anyone could pull this off, you could, but I would consider penquins' suggestion to add this to a packing slip.

Right now I send a note acknowledging that I see the item has been delivered and hope they find the item acceptable
That suggests to me that the item may not be acceptable.
Perhaps just say you hope they are enjoying it, or are pleased? And thank them for their purchase and you hope to have the opportunity to serve them again soon (we offer discounts, etc., might come in there)

Could we have some clarification on this please. Would an email such as the OP is describing be considered spam?

Hi @no_zero369, lots of sellers send a message after delivery to close out the transaction with their buyer and ensure there are no other concerns. This is a great best practice, and would not be considered spam. You are welcome to include details about the delivery status, encourage feedback, offer more support, recommend other items in your shop, etc. Most customers are used to receiving this kind of communication from their sellers and won't be bothered. Many appreciate the extra step of Customer Service this provides and it is a great way to encourage a buyer to respond with questions they may have about their purchase
