That's a very nice sentiment, and very timely: usually eBay's weather-related announcements come after the fact.  Perhaps it's because this weather is affecting San Jose itself?  

Anyway, based on eBay's past performance and reassurances regarding weather-related shipping issues, I strongly recommend that sellers should be proactive and extend their handling time so they avoid getting marked late for shipping, just in case eBay gets overwhelmed with helping sellers deal with these delays.
