A buyer accidentally left me negative feedback and then messaged me and told me he'll fix it he could figure it out. I sent him a feedback revision request and instructions on how to do it. A few days later he messages me and says he is frustrated at the website because he can't figure it out despite having his wife try to help him. They can't seem to figure it out despite me sending them ebay's instructions.
I think people get confused because ebay only gives them the option (according to what I read) in the actual email it sends them. Ebay doesn't let them revise the feedback right from my feedback page when they are viewing it.
If I contact CS will they reverse this or am I stuck with it because Ebay didn't make the process or instructions clear enough for buyers which is apparently my fault.
I just left feedback for you I made a mistake I meant to punch the positive sorry about that if I can fix it let me know thanks
Me and my wife are trying to mix. Can’t seem to get into the right page to change it.

Your mileage may vary. I’d say you might have a chance, but expect to make a good number of attempts at talking with different CS agents.

The only time I would see ebay removing feedback is if the feedback violated eBay's policy on feedback or contradicts something.
I would have the buyer contact ebay to get the feedback fixed as they were the ones that gave it to you.
Have them contact ebay here below. You get better CS agents. Yes I know it is intended for sellers, but I don't think they would refuse to help a buyer:

More people have luck contacting CS on Facebook than what you can click on here.
