I have had more non-paying winners in the past month than all in my 19 years selling thousands of items on eBay. Is anyone else experiencing the same or should I stop and read my Horoscope for the month?

Complaints about non-payers are a constant fixture on the boards, but haven't seen an uptick as severe as yours seems to be. How many have you had?

It seems the Non Paying Fairy has spread her fairy dust all over your sales, and you need something to break the magic spell!
Maybe click your heels together three times and say, there's no place like eBay, there's no place like eBay, there's no place like eBay.
Then grab some cookies (sorry, carry over from another thread) and your favorite beverage.
Wishing you better luck in the future!

All of the above beats pulling your hair out!
Here, have a cookie!

It does seem that although ebay has been attracting manny more active shoppers, unfortunately there are not enough active paying buyers to meet current demands.
Perhaps ebay's leadership can & will successfully address the issue within 2019
Good luck in selling

I'm also experiencing non-payers with the few sales I'm making since GTC.
I have found that since eBay has neglected the auction part of their site for so long that there are more auction non-payers than BIN and since the GTC change eBay is trying to "move" the one of a kind sellers to use auctions its a train wreck.
Good luck too you!

fashunu4eeuh just curious how would you know that you don't have anything listed for sale do you have multiple seller accounts?

I've had 2 non payers this week alone who offered BO on Bin listings and there has definitely been an increase in those. I wait 3 days and then open UPIs but if they don't pay - it's cost me a listing and and the ability to sell it to someone else.

Auction listings have always had more non-payers than Auction. It's one of (many) reasons I stopped doing auctions (10 years ago) unless it's a choice item, unknown value or eBay "dumps" an Auction only promo on me.
For FP non-payers are extremely infrequent for me.
I also do not use my selling id's to post here!

I have had a Few !! But since I don't list many items I can and do watch my bid items like a Hawk !! There are a few Tricks I look for !! And when I find Them I Will and Have Taken Care of Those Tricksters !! And just because I don't Use ( Another Account ) for a ( Forum ID ) doesn't matter to me !! You want to play with Fire you might Get Burned !! And I don't Care how many Accounts You Have !! It's Unfortunate that it has become this way but I guess Some People just don't have Anything Better to Do !! Good Luck and Watch Your Bidders If You Can !!

I know you may not like GTC, but using GTC as an excuse for a non payer is not a good excuse. One has nothing to do with the other. Buyers do not even know there is such of a thing as GTC. They see a listing and if they like the item and the price is right, they hit the purchase button.

I know for a fact that many of those buyers who you accepted their offers "do not know" you accepted their offer. Just about every item I purchase is either auction winner, or best offer. Ebay sends me a message that a counteroffer was submitted by the seller , but not that the offer was accepted. I always have to go to my purchase history to "see if", the seller accepted the offer. Next item you accept an offer, send the buyer a message to let them know they won your item and see if that helps.

Thank you so much cool - I didn't realize there was yet another problem with the system - but I do appreciate the info. I'll message them now!

Cool, I get messages saying the seller has accepted my offer, pay now, every time it is applicable. As I pay as soon as I have been accepted, I have usually paid even though the message comes through instantaneously. If they counter my offer, I get a message about that, too, which I can accept or submit another counter. I don't know why you aren't getting these messages. Perhaps something in your Communication Preferences.
