Why is with the eBay site constantly crashing?????

I swear 25%+ of the time, while trying to list on eBay, it crashes.  I develop the listing, add pictures, etc and then when I try to save it, it acts like it is thinking.  Then, all of a sudden, the "It not you, it's us" splash page or "We Looked Everywhere" page comes up and everything I just did is go.  WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!

Previously, it wouldn't save my descriptions when I published a listing.  Then, there was the issue where the descriptions were replaced with a "Puffer Jacket Boy Looked Everywhere" description after they were published.

I never said that.  Clearly there are others on this thread with similar issues.  As I said before I thought you might also find others that are having similar issues on the Tech board.

There are times when certain sections of the site don't work properly.  Just a couple weeks or so ago, they were updating the homepage and it was down for awhile.  Earlier this week the Homepage was down, but I don't know what the reason for that was.

Thursday late night into early Friday is when Ebay runs their weekly updates to the site.  Sometimes those updates can cause issues in various parts of the site for period of time.

I'm sure there has been other recent site problems as well.  Sometimes the issues don't affect everyone.

I'm not trying to dismiss any problems that anyone is seeing.  There is likely a variety of reason why the issues are happening as some are seeing different issues than others.

Just got this again but think I've figured out the reason after it happening a bunch of times. It seems to be dependent on the amount of pictures I add to the listing, on my end at least. Any number above about 8 makes ebay **bleep** the bed, after which it shows the "we searched everywhere" page for 10-15 minutes, sometimes up to half an hour. I should mention that I use ebay.nl and when it is down .com still works as normal. I do not have similar issues anywhere else. Seemingly some kind of ebay specific data throttling, which is very strange.

The app on iOS is crashing a lot too.  Mostly when it’s running in the. Background.  Really annoying.
