Why is the reason formy items not selling

Maybe the buyers are not currently interested in your items or don't currently need those items. You need to understand the mindset & current financial conditions of buyers & adjust your store accordingly.

Good luck!

I would have a very difficult time buying your items.

I don't see that you have any items listed for sale.

Hi, I see some things that you can change.

The purse isn't  denim.

Your handling time isn't  consistent. 10 days and 20 days handling is much too long. Sucessful sellers ship in 1-3 days.

You mention you only accept PayPal in some of your listings. You can't pick and choose how the buyer pays. Your buyer pays with any of  the methods eBay puts in your listings. PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover and PayPal Credit.  They could be shown more options when they check out.

@dulan-shali

You're selling dried leaves.  Those are prohibited to sell on Ebay and can get your into trouble.

Most of your items are rather random and to be honest there is not one item you are selling that I would be interested in purchasing.  I have leaves in my front and back yard...they don't cost me a cent.  You are selling some type of wood and adding unfounded health claims and benefits to the listing.  Also not allowed.  The purse you have listed is too expensive.  Crochet items are rather common.  Also, you are selling tea for $75....really?

Do you really think someone is going to purchase tea from Sri Lanka for $75? My guess is no.  Your shop has a lot of issues that you need to fix.  Perhaps take a business course or enroll in the Ebay Academy to help you learn to sell correctly.  Right now I don't see your shop becoming very successful at all given your inventory.

Good luck.

Price.  Take your tea, for example.  Others sell the same thing for $35 and less.  You have it listed at over $70.

I’m a tea drinker every single afternoon of my life.  I love teatime!

I can buy a package of the finest imported tea in the world from a store across the street from my apartment for about $4.25 for 20 tea bags no shipping…

Babe, Your tea price is ridiculous!

I can answer only as a U.S. buyer:  Every item that you are selling I can buy with two-day shipping from U.S. retailers on-line, at prices much lower than yours.

Harsh.  But remember that you asked.

Why is the reason formy items not selling

Hi and welcome!

Took a look at your listings. Overall you seem to have a solid grasp on the listing process, so good on ‘ya! But your listings do need some adjustments to make them better.

On the crocheted purse, there are different styles and different colors in a variation listing. That’s great, but i wonder if there is a better way to sell those purses. Instead of lumping them altogether, why not list them individually by style and then make a variation listing with the different colors available? Just a thought.

Still on the purse listing, your gallery picture depicts a light green crocheted purse with a white daisy on it. (At least i think its a light green color. Very difficult to say what exact color it is.) Very cute handbag. However, i don’t see that style under the variation choices. If that purse isn’t actually for sale, why is it your main photo? Why not show a group shot of all the choices included in the listing?

In the purse listing description field, there is some information missing. Measurements for handbags generally include height, width, length, and shoulder or handle drop, and diameter for the round purse. Each style needs measurements because each of those purses have quite different designs.

Part of the reason for your lack of sales has to do with your listing titles. For example, let’s break down the title by keywords for the purse listing. The title is “Women's Fashion Woven Handbag Single and double Shoulder Plain Crochet Sheap Bag”.  That title is a mess, if you will pardon my bluntness. Keywords are most important in Search results and the ones to include in a title need to have meaning related to the item.

The listing is already in the proper category of women’s handbags, so i suggest dropping superfluous words like “Women’s Fashion” from the title. It is not necessary to emphasize those two words. Next, the word “Woven” is not a helpful keyword. Woven suggests fabric, and these purses are crocheted—not made of fabric but yarn.

The next grouping is “Single and Double Shoulder”. What does that mean? Are you referencing single or double-handled purses? Are you referring to shoulder bags? Part of the difficulty with this listing is that the styles are so different, they cannot all be adequately described in the title.

The final grouping of keywords is “Plain Crochet Sheap Bag.” Your bags shown are not really plain, but are embellished with floral touches, scallops and tassels. So the word Plain would not be an appropriate keyword in this listing, in my opinion. Finally, what is a “Sheap”? Is this a typo? Did you mean Sheep instead? Either way, i would drop that descriptor in favor of a better, more apt, keyword.

And always proofread one’s listings in the draft form to catch spelling mistakes. ( In the description, you have a typo for “woolen”. Instead it reads as “wooden”.  That needs corrected.)

Check out your competitions’ titles for ideas on how best to present your crocheted bags. But i would think a title something like “Woolen Crochet Knit Handbags Hobo Retro Designs Handmade Customizing Available” might be something you could build on.

Wish you much good luck and many sales moving forward. Come back to the forum with any questions.
