Why is my "local pickup only" item also showing as free shipping?

Have this damaged guitar listed: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152901975935?ul_noapp=true for local pickup only, but while searching around I found it also listed with free shipping:

What is going on? What happens if the winner is out of the area and expects free shipping?

When I look at your listing I see free local pick up.

I do know that for years now there is some kind of glitch in ebay's system where this happens. I suggest IF someone pushed the issue about free shipping then call ebay and show them your screen shot and demand that ebay pay for the shipping.

It is just wrong for ebay to let this thing go on so long.

That glitch has to do with the mobile app and is not related in any way to Local Pickup Only listings.

She’s talking about a different glitch that IS related to local pickup only, NOT the mobile app.

Well Local Pickup Only is always free so I don't see what glitch there actually is that would lead anyone to need to call eBay for some sort of credit....credit for what?

The OP's screenshot appers to be a 'product page' and not the actual listing page.

So yes, if someone bids and wins it from that page, they will think they are getting free shipping.

So I see no reason that the OP Shouldn't call ebay and make them pay for shipping, considering they are the ones giving incorrect info to the viewers.

That's just wrong on so many levels. Just one of many in the useless product pages.

I'd be more concerned about a negative feedback I'll likely get when I don't ship it free to someone out of the area.

I agree. I did not even know they had such a different page. You can actually bid on this page.
