Why is my listing not showing up after 24 hours?

Hey everyone,

I'm a new seller just trying to sell some low-cost items while I figure out what I'm doing. Anyway I listed an item a little over 24 hours ago and can't seem to find it when I search - though I see no reason why. Category is correct, no typos in the name, not even searching by item # has any results.

Everything I read seems to indicate that 24 hours is the norm but I'm not sure why it wouldn't be up by now. It's got to be difficult starting out on Ebay if you can't even get items listed...

Hun, I don't see anything either, hmmm did you hit the button that says "List"? Is there any highlighted areas on your listing you need to correct? It shouldn't have taken this long, back track and view draft again.

If you revise the listing, it goes back to the end of the indexing queue and the potential for a 24 hour delay starts over.

My seller dashboard says this listing is active and the page says "this item is for sale".

I'm not seeing anything that needs to be corrected.

I see six items you have listed now, including the Mike Trout card.

Not sure why it took almost twice as long as usual for those to appear in search; it does not seem that the listing was revised, so normally it would take 24 hours or less.

Perhaps because you are a new seller, things took longer the first time. Or perhaps the reorganization of the trading card categories has had something to do with it.

No wonder items cannot sell. 

Let's hope this was the fluke exception.  If not, might explain the constant rotation of board posts about zero sales.

We get an email from e-bay 2 secs after we list an item, telling us it is "live".  I don't usually test that theory - guess we should.   😞

I can see 78 of your items that ship to the US.

If your items do not have a shipping method specified for Japan, you will not be able to see them when searching if you are using an address in Japan to calculate your shipping.

If I change my shipping location to Japan, I see 33 items.
