Have you accidentally set it as an Auction?

We only have two listing styles on Ebay now.  Auctions and GTC also known as Fixed Price.  The only type of listing that has different durations is Auctions.  So for you to have a 10 day duration, it has to be an auction as @downunder-61 said.
