Why is every change just for the worst??

It must be typical office people who never do the actual work or use the product.  Every change is for the worst.  Do not want seller hub.  Now it is forced upon everyone because of some genius(es), who never uses eBay, decided it was the best move.  It's bad enough the last change(s) are hurting sales with a decrease in views.  ARGH!  Stop changing things!!!  Good luck to all sellers.  🙂

Thanks for getting back to me. Well, if you see my most recent post, that is what I get now which is not the one page compact Summary page. But thanks. The compact summary page is long gone.

Correct me if I am wrong (as some of you usually do)

eBay is a giant shopping mall. I pay them rent every month to have my shop. I pay them a commission on every one of my sales. So why do I now have to allow them to tell me how to set up my shop, do my books, track my sales, etc etc?

You're allowing them to tell you how to do those things because they're the ones providing those services, bundled into your registration as a seller. The mall doesn't store your item descriptions/photos, screen buyers, do sales checkout, provide monthly sales reports, etc. for you. So why would you expect this website to operate like a mall?

Depending on where that takes you, you should be able to switch views.  When I'm on this ID (and this browser), I get the old MyeBay Summary page... which shows Active Listings, Solds, Unsolds, Monthly Performance, Selling Limits, Promotions, etc.

When I used that link in another browser (with another ID), it took me to the New Selling Overview.  That had the very compact, non detailed summary with the To Do list.

Both pages had the option on the upper right hand side to switch views.

I just found my bookmark of the one page summary, I knew I saved it just for this purpose in case it disappeared. Well...you click on it and guess what? It automatically now goes to Seller Hub. Guess I am just doomed here. The one pager, compact view is now toast.

It is something that we will all have to get used toslight_frown

For now I have still been able to get back where I want to be, but that will end with the new Adyen, and the rest of the processing.  Got the invite to start playing in Sept.. I will not "opt in".

I can use the sellers hub, but prefer not to. Just so much that I do not need, and like you, I like having it all on one page rather than jumping from page to page to see things. Look at unsold, scroll up to double check that I have not relisted. Scroll back down to put the checkmark in the box. Check a couple of more if needed, then go ahead and relist.

Sellers hub. I have to be careful in the "unsolds".   Could have relisted, and sold at a later date, but unless there has been a change, that old "unsold" item may still be showing for up to 90 days.  Hard to sell something that is already gone. Well, not hard to sell it, hard to ship itgrin

You win the cigar. The fact is Ebay doesn't care about sellers which are Ebay's actual customers and not the people that buy from the sellers which are our customers.

The people who drive eBay's profits are the buyers. Those buyers are using eBay's website and services. It's obviously a hybrid arrangement, where buyers are your customers, but they're also eBay's. Arguing that buyers aren't eBay's customers simply isn't logical.

Hey, thatsall. Let us not go there about ebay storing pictures for you. Considering the recent events, that is now a misnomer.

I think age also has a lot to do with it. It seems the older the person is the more they hate change. One of the biggest things many don't understand is they only see the change in what effects them. Ebay sees the big picture and how it effects millions.

Pretty sure the largest companies / sellers here dont use it. I know several and none of them do.

Thanks for trying to help. I did that switch, and it doesn't go to what I call the compact page (which I think is what you call the one with the To Do List. Can't find it, can't access it. I use Chrome and only have this one ID. Plus I went online to uTube where there were instructions on how to flip back, but the flipping back showed this new page after page, horizontal summary. I think it is long gone for me, at least. I am usually computer dyslexic, but trying to find a workaround now I think is impossible.

Oh, what I find intersting you can only now only view I think up to 60 days of solds. On the older format I think it was at least 90. Plus...on this new one, you can't see the buyer's email address. Am not worried so much about that since my 3rd party lister has all of that info since PP no longer shows email addresses anymore either.

In the Hub in Overview scroll down and on the left side you'll see a link to view my ebay selling. click that and it takes you to the all selling page (generic) - then bookmark that

Thanks for that link, I can't find a way to the All Selling page to find out how many free listings I have left.

This new page took away my notes.....I use them on every listing.  ebay really needs to stop wasting money paying people to make the site less user friendly.

Hi, thanks for your help. I am adverse to using Seller Hub and each time it comes up "ready to whatever" I hit the back button. Am trying to stay out of it before I can't go back to this other horizontally challenged Selling page. Unless you are telling me that is where I can go back to the one pager compact view. And this is the one that when you clicked on solds, it gave the solds like a number and you would click on it and all the buyer info came up. Is that where it will take me? Thanks. I am almost going crazy that maybe other sellers never saw/used the page I am talking about lolol. And I can't send a screenshot cause it is gone.

That selling page where you have to scroll left and right is as big a pain as the seller hub.

I just want my ice cream in a cone.

I don't want it in a banana split dish where I have to use my spoon to dig throught the whipped topping, cherry, nuts, and sprinkles to get at what I want.

There was a post by Ebay yesterday saying you will not be able to revert back to the old selling manager. We're stuck with the Seller Hub for now unless we all keep calling & complaining that we don't at least have the option to use one or the other.
