I have noticed the past few weeks after I prepare a listing and go to post it ebay takes 12 hrs or so to make it visible. This never happened in the past. It used to be up in 1-5 minutes. My content hasnt changed and im not listing anything youd normally think requires extra screening.

I am even noticing when I do a simple edit to a listing it takes MANY hours to show up. I tweaked the title for a listing that was already up a few hours ago and it STILL hasnt shown up in my store or ebay.

Whats going on with ebay? Is something wrong with their tech team or something? bugs????

Let me know, I really dont want to have to wait half a day for a post to show back up after I nake some minor edits to it.

(I sell handmade art supplies and vintage art supplies primarily)

Any ideas?

eBay says new listings can take up to 24 hours to be indexed and appear in search. The actual time depends on many possible factors including how many other listings are being submitted at the time. If you revise a listing before it appears, it goes to the back of the line.

If it has been more than 24 hours since the last revision, please post an item number.

From my experience it has always taken a while and I was very surprised when one did show up in just a few minutes.

The want you to pay $4.99 to Boost your listing to see it right away. This is not right on eBays end. I'm listing for 7 days I want it on 7 days not 6!!!!!!

eBay used to tell buyers a listing could take up to 24 hours to index or go live. They don't do that now?

Also every edit or revision drops you to the end of the line again. Keep that in mind.

I am not liking it too, waiting and watching the time tick off.

The clock should start when it goes LIVE.
I will be more upset if the clock has been moving, been waiting almost a full 24hrs, 19hrs
