I do not understand eBay's new game of sending me notices about auction items ending or BIN items ending that I looked at but DID NOT save or watch. If I wanted them, I would have put them on my watch list.
eBay, what's up with this new spam my email account nonsense? If I do not watch an auction or buy a product I looked at, I do not want it. Why are you sending me notices of things I look at and move on from? I was not interested, and no, I do not want a second look, last chance to buy, etc.,
Anyone else getting these annoying messages that have nothing to do with anything? Are they getting you to buy things you click on and move away from? Spam me with some good stuff, like free promotions, sales, offers, kind messages from delighted buyers. This seems extremely desperate on your part eBay and doesn't look good to me as a buyer (although I sell more than I buy).
Desperation is never a good selling place. For the seller or for you, eBay. What's the point of this new spam game?

Yes, I get them for things I only casually glanced at. If I were truly interested, I would place in my Watch List.

Yes, annoying.
Ignore? also yes.

You might be able to get rid of them by changing your Site & Communications settings.

I did, but they are still coming.
Swell.
I used to get some of these on my buying ID, I've got all the "notifications" and communications stuff turned off on it, but I don't ever look at that email. I just did though, and I don't have any about items I looked at, so either you're special (and I'm not), or there's more stuff you can turn off that isn't off right now.
I do have a few spams trying to get me leave Product Reviews though, even though I have Feedback Reminders (a different thing) set to NO.

Not at all. I made my mind up when I looked at it, no reason for me to change that decision.

They're just annoying you, which always improves the Buyer Experience, right?

Why is eBay sending me notices for items I do not have on my watch list?
Because they can?
Hoping a second look will change your mind?

I was just over on my buyer ID email again, I'm not getting these still, but I got one for an item I bid on reminding me I'm about to be outbid, and encouraging me to check back close to the end of the auction.
In any event, down at the bottom of it was a link to my Communication Preferences (which in theory would control the sending of this email, but knowing ebay maybe won't), as well as an "unsubscribe" link.
You can always try one or both of those options.
