I don't want to chat with ebay or call them or have them call me. If you get a message that is spam or irrelevant you should just be able to report the message to ebay. I know I don't go around messaging sellers with links to other listings or worse some sort of critique of one of my listings. Who does that? This isn't twitter, youtube or facebook. If you're not buying then you need to leave others alone.

There used to be one. They took it out.
That shows you how much they care about the spam or requests for a PP email address coming thru their messages.

They should restore it then. The alternatives are responding which only results in escalation. I have tried this method before. "Please do not contact me" or "If you keep on sending unsolicited messages i will report you to Ebay", "you have no intention of buying this item, please do not contact me again". It's like pushing a dog, the dog pushes back. "i'm reporting you for ripping people off" "You're price gauging" etc. Then there are the more colorful responses I won't post here. Thing is Ebay monitors how quickly we respond. They don't publish this but trust in that it factors into how our listings perform, it's part of the algorithm. I most definitely do not need to be given links to competitors, especially when the competitor is the one who sent the link to their own listing.

Just ignore them. Add them to your BBL. And move on with your selling hustle.

What hustle? I'm thinking of making a video on how to sell or trick the ebay algorithm. I know there are a ton out there but i don't have anything anyone really wants or enough items to sell to be visible . Might as well sell the idea. I know they actually work. I just don't have resources to sell more. Some are common sense, some are re-iterated but I can always put my spin on things. Besides youtube demonetized one of my channels years ago. I need hours watched. 😄
