Ordered a $4 book with free shipping from one of the mega-sellers. Received the wrong book and returned it with a label provided by the seller.
Left a factual neutral: Wrong book sent. Refunded after returning the book with a pre-paid label from the seller.
FB was immediately removed, presumably because I received a refund. I guess I would have to eat the $4 if I wanted to leave honest feedback. The seller has 18,500 negs and nearly 16,000 neutrals in the past year, so a lot of buyers are being heard from.
I rarely leave a neutral and don't do it to be punitive. In this case, I thought it would useful for other buyers to know the seller will refund, but only after requiring a return.

Probably because of the new feedback-removal policy.

Well, I'm glad to see that it happened to someone else. I thought I was losing my mind looking for a neutral that I left. Mine also was a mixed review but said something like the product was good but the item ships from China and not the location indicated on the listing, so expect a delay in receiving it. I guess something does trigger a bot.

and none of those reasons fit the feedback I left. Oh well.

You should click on the link to see more info. There are a lot of other reasons feedback may be removed as well. I just copied the section that seemed to fit the OP's situation.

Looked at them and I still don't think what I wrote applies to any of them.

I recently had an item lost in the mail. The seller refused to ship a second item and told me i had to buy a second item. I bought the second item and the seller instantly cancelled it and refunded me with the reason that i requested a cancellation even though i didnt. I left feedback and eBay automatically removed it because he claimed in the cancellation that i requested cancellation. As far as i can see there is no where for a biyer to dispute this.
