Hey guys! I have a quick question and hopefully I can get some answers!
Today I made a sale for $100 dollars and I used free shipping. When I received the payment it came out to $106.75 so I'm a little confused why I got the extra $6.75 I'm not complaining at extra money but would like to know where that is coming from.

@themcbros, is this the item?

That does have free shipping, so the extra amount in the payment is probably the sales tax for the buyer's state. But, you don't get to keep that. It is nomally subtracted from the payment received along with the PayPal fees, and the sales tax is sent to eBay so they cna submit it to the buyer's state.

If you watch your paypal you will see the sales tax swept out very shortly.
